Containers for Change

Containers for Change is a great initiative that helps us fundraise as well as diverting waste from landfill. Cottesloe Coastcare gets 10 cents for every eligible container donated through the Containers for Change scheme, and that can really add up!

For 2022 all money raised will go towards revegetating John Black Dune Park. You can read more about this project here.

Drink containers with the 10c mark are eligible and this includes most aluminium, glass, plastic, steel and liquid paperboard drink containers between 150ml and 3L. You can check which ones are eligible on the Containers for Change website here.  Wine bottles and milk cartons are not eligible.

How to Help:

Save your bottles and cans and drop them off to:

• Any of the refund points listed on the website. Our Member Number is  C10357947 or save this barcode to your phone and scan it when returning.

• Valdene’s at 87 Curtin Ave, Cottesloe (just south of Salvado Street).
